Cassie Scerbo, an American performer, singer and dancer from America first came to attention when she joined the all girl pop band "Slumber Partie Girls," that was host of the CBS children's show Dance Revolution in the middle 2000s. Also, she was a part of The ABC Family drama, Make It or Break It and her direct-to video film Bring It On. Her most recognizable role was as Nova Clarke who appeared in the first four of six Sharknado films. However, she did leave school in the year 2010 and went on to attend the Slade School of Fine Art University College London. She began creating music at a young age. She was able to go by an pseudonym Charli XCX, and began going to raves. Soon she was able to have local hits, and followed it up with the singles Franchesckaar! Emelline/Art Bitch. Asylum Records signed her in 2010. Alex Metric is heard in the track End of the World that was released in 2011. True Romance her debut studio album came out in the year 2013. It received positive reviews. The album's first week sold 1,241 copies and reached number 85 according to the U.K. Albums Chart. Charli was immediately set to begin work on her next album. Fancy, the Australian rapper Iggy Azalea featured her on the track. It reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. The debut album of Sucker came out on the 14th of December, 2014. Sucker became a world phenomenon. It reached number 28 in the Billboard 200. Also, it received positive reviews from critics. Break the Rules one of the songs from the album, was an international record. In July 2015, the singer revealed that a third studio album was currently in making.
