Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multi-cultural family. Born in South London. She has a father who is Nigerian as well as Swiss, while her mom is English. She grew on the south London council estate, and when she was fourteen, she attended The Brit School. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. At the academy was when she performed in various stage productions including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career through the movie Storm Damage. Over the past few years she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe landed her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she appeared in Elisha on a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in the six episodes of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi as the main character in the ITV2 comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was later cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge during two seasons. In May 2013 that she'd quit the show after completing an appearance in the first series of the 3rd. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred in the role of Tituba in the TV series Salem. From June to July 2012, the actress got married to her long-time partner, actor Iddo Goldberg. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball during summers and hockey during winters. Ashley couldn't walk, however she could dance. This led to the fact that as she grew older when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered her love for dance when she was just a few years old. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, tap and jazz in high divisions. Ashley won the best soloist award at every major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among some.
