Ellie's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December 1986, in Hereford England) was a English Singer-Songwriter. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to her catchy electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her distinctive soprano voice and knack of writing engaging, but emotionally honest music, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of modern mainstream music as well as artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogging to printed media, garnering recognition from major publications such as The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies.
